Join me and the Cambridge Council on Aging as we now take the “Armchair Forest Bathing” series outdoors into Cambridge.
Come for one monthly event or all three (April, May, and June). You are welcome each and any time.
This is gentle introduction for adults 60 and older. Accommodations are available for all abilities and interests.
Walking will be on even terrain around Cambridge with many opportunities to sit, rest and reflect.
Each monthly event will explore a different green space in Cambridge. More details as to the location and other logistics will be provided at registration.
Together we will explore the practice of Shinrin Yoku, aka “forest bathing,” which is about “bathing” our senses by connecting with the natural world around us. No water or bathing required!
Along with some guided exercises and gentle strolling, participants will be invited to share their experiences of connecting with nature. Contemplation and also conversation are key elements of our time together.
Join us as we explore ways of connecting with nature, with ourselves and also with each other as a community.
For more information and to register, call the Council on Aging at 617-349-6220. And a monthly calendar of events can be found here.
